The city of Laramie has added two road construction projects to their initial list.

Karen Tangeman, engineering technician for the Public Works department, said while some of the projects are slated to be completed in the fall, their start dates had not yet been determined. She said the city would be providing updates as soon as they were available.

A resident voices concern about a hazardous site.

Beginning Monday, April 10th, through Aug. 30, Snowy Range Road between the intersections of Clark & Cedar and Garfield and Snowy Range will be closed due to the Wyoming Department of Transportation Harney Street Bridge project.

Trihydro will be flying a drone over the Harney Street Overpass project on Saturday, March 25 between 9 and 11 a.m, according to a City of Laramie news release. The drone will be collecting video footage for marketing purposes.

The lane will be closed so the curb and gutter associated with the Big D Exxon development may be replaced, according to the City of Laramie.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation’s Harney Street construction kickoff event scheduled for Thursday, March 9 has been canceled due to weather.

Starting Feb. 13, at 6:30 a.m., Harney Street will be closed from the intersection of Third and Harney, west to behind Kmart until further notice, according to the City of Laramie.
