Each crime is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

One is charged with felonies for allegedly assaulting police, the other five were allegedly in a vehicle with a handgun and marijuana.

"It's a learning process for us," says Simmons. "I think it's the first time anyone has seen that happen in this area."
