The traffic signal at the intersection of Clark Street and Cedar Street experienced electrical damage and failed beyond reasonable repair because of the heavy snowfall in Laramie late last week, the City of Laramie Public Works Department says.

Temporary four-way stop signs have been put up at the intersection and will be in place for the foreseeable future, the City says. The traffic lights were scheduled to be removed as part of the Harney Street Bridge project and a 2-way stop installed in its place, so the city determined it was best to remove the traffic signal and replace it with stop signs.
