The blood moon lunar eclipse was this past weekend, and the skies were, thankfully, clear enough for many amateur astronomers and photographers to get beautiful photos of the event.

Streams were set up to watch the lunar eclipse for those who didn't have the ability, or wanted to watch it magnified by streaming telescopes. According to the youtube video below, evidence was found on several live streams of the lunar eclipse that a space rock struck the moon during the totality of the eclipse.

It shows up as just a small bust of light, barely perceptible, but it matches NASA's definitions of what a rock hitting the moon would look like. The moon gets hit by approximately 2800 kg of meteor material daily.
