University of Wyoming basketball coach Larry Shyatt says that his team is mentally equipped to handle what amounts to a road game in the Mountain West Conference tournament against the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV).

The conference holds it's tournament games at the Thomas&Mack Center in Las Vegas, which also happens to be UNLV's home court. While Shyatt declined comment on the controversy over UNLV getting the home court advantage every year come tournament time, he went on to say his team has handled home and road games equally well all season.

He also says that while he hopes a fair number of Wyoming fans will show up to support their team, he doesn't think the Cowboys will be affected by "extraneous factors" such as playing a road game in the tournament.
