Running on a plan to “Put Wyoming First,” U.S. Senate candidate Dave Dodson addressed several topics in a one-on-one sit-down Monday.

Dodson originally started out as an independent candidate, but shortly after switched and is in the upcoming Republican primary for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by John Barrasso.

Dodson spoke with host David Settle during the “Laramie Live on KOWB” radio morning about why he’s running, his platform, what he will and will not do if elected and more.

The U.S. Senate seat has six Republican candidates on the primary ballot. This includes incumbent U.S. Senator John Barrasso, Dodson, Charlie Hardy, Rocky De La Fuente, John Holtz, and Anthony Van Risseghem.

Wyoming’s primary election is Tuesday, Aug. 21. Absentee balloting is already open across the state.
