UNDATED (AP) —Ex-Yankee Robinson Cano (kan-OH') doubled and drove in two runs, Roenis Elias struck out 10 in seven impressive innings and the Seattle Mariners beat the New York Yankees 4-2.

Michael Saunders had three hits, including an RBI double, to help the Mariners win for the fifth time in six games following an eight-game skid.

In other baseball:

— The Miami Marlins finished a three-game sweep of Atlanta, 5-4. Giancarlo Stanton and Casey McGehee hit consecutive run-scoring singles off David Carpenter during a two-run rally in the seventh.

— Mark Buehrle (BUR'-lee) improved to 5-1, Juan Francisco and Colby Rasmus each went deep and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Kansas City Royals 7-3 to avoid a series sweep.

— Brayan Pena's second career pinch-homer started Cincinnati's big eighth-inning rally and gave the Reds an 8-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers.

— Carlos Gonzalez homered before leaving with a finger injury, Juan Nicasio pitched seven scoreless innings and drove in three runs, and the Colorado Rockies beat the New York Mets 7-4.

— Yasiel Puig (yah-SEE'-ehl pweeg), Juan Uribe (oo-REE'-bay) and Miguel Olivo (oh-LEE'-voh) each drove in two runs to lead the Dodgers to a 9-4 win over Minnesota in the first game of a doubleheader. Dan Haren improved to 4-0, striking out seven in 6 2-3 innings. The Dodgers swept the twinbill by taking the nightcap 4-3 in 12 innings. Adrian Gonzalez hit his ninth homer, one of three Dodger homers in the second game.

— David DeJesus (deh-HAY'-soos) homered and drew a bases-loaded walk to help the Rays top Boston 2-1 as the Rays swept a day-night twinbill. Tampa Bay won the nightcap 6-5 as Yunel Escobar homered leading off the ninth inning.

— Steve Pearce had three hits and two RBIs in Baltimore's 5-1 win over Pittsburgh in the opener of a twin bill. Matt Wieters (WEE'-turz) delivered a game-winning home run in the 10th inning to win the nightcap, 6-5.
