The Wyoming Department of Transportation says crews with Simon Contractors have started work to resurface a 10 mile section of WYO 130 in Albany County.

The work area will be from the WYO 130-230 intersection in West Laramie and extend west from there.

Work will take place during daylight hours on weekdays and some Saturdays. Traffic will be guided through the project by a pilot car.

WYDOT says drivers should expect delays during working hours and should plan ahead. Laramie Regional Airport passengers should keep the project in mind when traveling to the airport.

The $2.5 million project is expected to be complete by mid-August. ADA upgrades will also be made to sidewalks within city limits.
