Recreation Center Pool Closure-Ask the City

Why does the Laramie Recreation Center's outdoor pool close before Labor Day when families might want to take their kids to enjoy the last warm days in Laramie?

Answer:

"Historical figures have shown that use at the outdoor aquatic facilities diminishes drastically during this time. It is our department's responsibility to make wise budgetary decisions based on a cost benefit or cost use analysis. The analysis does not provide enough support to remain open during this time.

Ask the City Of Laramie is your chance to send the city that burning question that you have always wondered about such as: “How do I get a city parking permit?” or “Why did my water usage rates go through the roof?”

Please note that the City of Laramie will answer as many questions as possible at their discretion.
