Kapri Bibbs ran for a career-high 201 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Colorado State Rams to a blow-out 52-22 win over the Wyoming Cowboys Saturday at War Memorial Stadium. It was CSU's first win in the Border War since 2008, as the Bronze Boot heads back to Fort Collins.

Colorado State (3-4, 1-1) scored on three of its first five possessions, as they jumped out to a 21-0 lead. The Rams also capitalized on three Wyoming turnovers that directly led to three CSU touchdowns.

Bibbs had t-d runs of 7, 59 and 9 yards, while Donnell Alexander added a 3-yard score on the ground and Garrett Grayson threw for 219 yards and tossed three t-d passes, one of which was to Alexander.

Wyoming (4-3,2-1) managed only a Shaun Wick 11-yard t-d run in the second quarter, a Brett Smith to Dominic Rufran 71-yard scoring strike in the third and Tedder Easton's 67-yard scamper in the fourth.

The Cowboys trailed 21-7 after Wick's score on the ground, but CSU answered with a field goal right before half for a 24-7 edge at the break. A tipped pass resulted in an interception on UW's opening drive of the second half that led to a Grayson t-d toss for a 31-7 lead. Rufran's catch and run for a score, plus a two-point run got the Pokes within 31-15 at the 12:35 mark of the third.

Colorado State came right back with a 12 play, 75 yards drive that culminated with Grayson hitting Alexander down the right sideline from 34-yards out. That was the first of three straight scores by the Rams that put the game out of reach. CSU finished with 509 yards of total offense, including 298 yards rushing. They also held the ball 11 more minutes than Wyoming.

The Cowboys were held to 416 yards. Smith went 21-of-36 for 246 yards a touchdown and two interceptions. He was also sacked three times. Rufran finished with a career-high 135 yards receiving. Jordan Stanton and Lucas Wacha led the UW defense with 18 and 13 tackles, respectively.

Wyoming returns to MW action next Saturday at the San Jose State Spartans. Kick-off is set for 5 p.m.
