A single vehicle rollover crash 30 miles south of Lovell claimed the life of 45 year old Christopher A. Boswell of Powell, Wyoming last Wednesday evening. The crash occurred at 10:50 p.m. near mile post 126 on WY 32.

The pickup Mr. Boswell was driving was traveling north on WY 32 when the truck drifted off the roadway from the northbound lane. Boswell overcorrected to the left, crossed the centerline and went off the road. The truck rolled and vaulted down a ravine. Mr. Boswell was not buckled in and was ejected during the crash and died at the scene.

23 year old Stephen Parker, also from Powell, was a front seat passenger in the crash. He was taken by air ambulance to Billings, Montana for treatment of injuries.

Speed and impaired driving are being investigated as factors in the crash. This crash marked the 125th highway fatality in Wyoming for 2014.
