The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking information from the public on a pronghorn doe that was poached eight miles west of Cheyenne on state land near the Otto Road Shooting Range. The pronghorn was shot twice with a rifle between the hours of 7 a.m. July 11 to July 12.

Cheyenne Game Warden Dillon Herman reported it was a nursing doe. He said, “It left a fawn somewhere that more than likely will not survive.”

Please help the Wyoming Game and Fish Department catch poachers by calling the Stop Poaching Tip Line at 1-877-WGFD-TIP with any information.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted directly on the Game and Fish website at wgfd.wyo.gov or by texting WGFD and the tip to TIP411 (847411) via the WGFD Tip Android app.
