The Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center located at 22nd and Grand is the University of Wyoming's dramatic welcoming center. The 67,000 plus square feet facility is the largest private fundraising facility project in UW's history. The total cost of the facility was $35 million.

The Gateway Center is a multi-use building with a state-of-the art technological infrastructure, small and large meeting rooms, and public and social event spaces. The Legacy Hall is a remarkable museum-quality room complete with static and digital displays that commemorate the history of UW through the decades.

The exterior has a unique lighting system capable of creating lighting of 16.7 million different colors. Colors will change throughout the year, but the lights will only shine gold to symbolize a Pokes victory.

The Gateway Center opens to the public on Friday, October 24 with a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m.
