Governor Matt Mead proclaimed October Disability Employment Awareness Month in Wyoming

The Governor said the month strengthens the commitment to equal employment opportunities for all Wyoming residents.

Calob Taylor, policy analyst and grants coordinator for the Wyoming Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities, says the agency was successful in working with the legislature in getting the "Employment First" bill passed. He says the bill will help "people with disabilities obtain and maintain competitive and integrated employment."

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services will host a job fair for people with disabilities this Thursday October 30, 2014 at Laramie County Community College from 1-3 p.m.
