Niko Sushi and Steak is the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance's April Business of the Month.

A Laramie fixture for over two years, Niko Sushi and Steak employs a staff of 11 employees, including six waitstaff and five cooks, made up in part by University of Wyoming students.

"We want to provide jobs for the community as much as we can," said Seno, owner and operator of Niko Sushi and Steak.

The restaurant consistently runs specials including appetizers, entrees and featured rolls. Customer favorites include the Surf and Turf Platter, the California Sushi Rolls, and a Seafood Udon.

"Our ingredients are fresh and prepared daily by our cooks," said Seno. "Our goal is to serve the best food possible."

Niko Sushi and Steak hosts a happy hour from 4:30-6 p.m. and 9-9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, as well as 4:30-6 p.m. Sunday.

The restaurant sits across from the UW dorms at 1702 E. Grand Ave.
