A Senate bill proposed for consideration by the Wyoming legislature could potentially enhance court security in Albany County.  The bill would offer grants from the Court Security Assistance Fund to various Wyoming counties.

The draft bill does not specify exact usage of the grant monies. Police officials, however, hope to use the funds for additional manpower in the courts. Counties with populations and property tax revenues below the state median would be given highest priority for the grant under the proposal.
