Wyoming only has one clinic where abortions can be performed and a national anti-abortion group will be protesting outside the clinic for the next three days. Reverend Mark Holick of Wichita Kansas is a member of Operation Save America and is organizing the protest. The group hopes to make Wyoming the first abortion free state.

The group will be protesting for the next three days in hopes that Wyoming might become the first state to be abortion free. Although Wyoming only has one clinic that performs the procedure protesting might be a shot in the dark. Abortion has been a long time issue in the state as well as across the country. The Wyoming Legislature even struggled with the issue just months ago.

This is also not the first time that the clinic has been targeted because of abortion. In 1995, the clinic was bombed by an activist who had pleaded guilty to bombing other clinics.

Dr. Brent Blue who is a family practitioner runs the clinic. He said that abortions are only a small part of his practice. Blue ran for Teton County coroner and the issue of abortion was brought up during his campaign. That in turn may have caused him and his clinic to be targeted.

Abortion is not an easy topic to discuss but there are pro's and con's for both sides of the argument. It is also a topic that should not be brushed aside.
