The bulls may have gotten the best of most of the cowboys, but the crowd was the ultimate winner at the Mr. T Classic Xtreme Bull Riding on Wednesday night at the Albany County Fairgrounds. The bulls from Burns Rodeo Company bucked all but two professional bull riders and put on a heck of a show in the process.

Kody Pierce scored the first qualified ride of the night with a 79 on Oreo Blend. Then Jarrod Ford posted a score of 86 on Sump Pump. Ford said his good friend, bull fighter Cade Burns, told him his bull liked to go out to the left, a tip Ford used to his advantage. Unfortunately after Ford’s ride, the bulls won out the remainder of the night, which ended with Full Throttle bucking Cody Teel.

“Being the Mr. T Classic and stuff it’s pretty cool,” Teel said about his night in Laramie. “There’s a lot of history here and a lot of his offspring are in the blood lines of these bulls so they’re all great bulls… it’s exciting bull riding. The bulls are hot and they buck so it makes for a good show.”
