There is only one undefeated team left in the Mountain West Conference after week 8 wrapped up Saturday.

San Diego State is the last unbeaten in MW football after a big home win Friday night over Utah State. That leaves three teams tied atop the Mountain Division, while the Aztecs are in firm control of the West Division.

Only five conference games were contested, as two teams, Colorado State and UNLV had the week off.
