A two vehicle crash on November 25th resulted in the death of 21 year old Leah E. Bryan of Roundup, Montana. The crash happened at 7:39 p.m. on Interstate 25 approximately 10 miles north of Casper.

Leah Bryan was travelling north in an SUV when the vehicle lost traction entering into a clockwise spin on the ice covered roadway. The truck spun across the median and entered the southbound lanes of Interstate 25. Then the

The SUV was struck by a southbound tractor-trailer combination unit. The 18-wheeler was driven by 37 year old Aaron Skunkcap of Lakewood, Colorado.

Leah Bryan was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash but still suffered fatal injuries from the crash. Mr. Skunkcap and his passenger, 22 year old Randy Martinez of Denver, Colorado, were both taken to Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. Both men were treated and released. Mr. Skunkcap was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. Mr. Martinez was in the sleeper berth section of the truck.

That section of Interstate 25 was temporarily closed with traffic being detoured around the crash scene. Icy roads and adverse weather conditions are being investigated as the contributing factors in this crash,
