Wyoming's lone congresswoman says while the Affordable Care Act must go, the process of repealing and replacing the ACA is going to be difficult.

"We're absolutely dedicated to doing it in a way that doesn't pull the rug out from under people, doesn't take benefits away from folks who've got them now, but the situation is a complete train wreck," said U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney.

"You talk to folks who say, 'Sure we've got insurance, but the deductible is $6,000 a year,'" she added. "That's not insurance."

Cheney says there are a lot of plans in place, but House Republicans aren't saying much until Tom Price is confirmed as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

"It's incredible the amount of flexibility the actual Obamacare legislation gives to the Secretary of Health and Human Services," said Cheney. "Once he's in office, there's a lot he can do to begin to unravel some of the damage that's been done."

"Part of the challenge right now is, because Tom Price is still going through the confirmation process, nobody wants to talk too much about things that could be used against him in that process," added Cheney.
