Revisions are in the works for the Laramie high school pool.

Director of State and Federal Programs Stuart Nelson said the builder is constructing a new bulkhead after the first one did not meet specifications.

LHS Swim Coach Tom Hudson said that the main issue with the current bulkhead is that it wasn't installed straight.

“In order to have our pool certified nationally for qualifying times to count each lane of the pool must certify within 3/8ths of an inch of each other in order to have fair competitive races,” Hudson said.

Hudson said the bulkhead that is currently in place had several lanes over an inch out of specification.

Hudson said that the timeline for the builder to replace the bulkhead is tentatively set for February.
