When you hit a game-winner in overtime and lead your squad to a key road win in a pair of conference games, you get noticed. University of Wyoming Cowboy junior forward Larry Nance, Jr. has been named the Mountain West Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Nance led the Pokes to a 66-59 road win at Air Force last Wednesday, and then he hit the game-winning basket this past Saturday in the Cowboys 64-62 overtime win over Nevada.

Nance average 19.5 points, 11 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots per game for last week. He shot 58.3 percent (14-24) from the field and knocked down 11-of-12 free throws (91.7%). He recorded his eighth double-double this season against the Wolfpack.

He scored 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots in the win over the Falcons. He followed with 19 points, matched a season-high with 13 rebounds and blocked two shots versus Nevada.

This is the second career MW weekly accolade for Nance. He also earned the honor back on December 16, 2013.
