Organizations across Laramie will be volunteering to pick up Christmas trees after the holidays this year.

Due to budget cuts in the City of Laramie, the city will not be providing a Christmas tree –pickup service again this year. Volunteers from the Laramie Knights of Pythias, Laramie High School Rodeo Club, Laramie Rangers Baseball, Snowy Range FFA, Wyoming Technical Institute and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will provide the free pickup service for one day only on Jan. 6, 2018.

Residents who want to participate in the program should have their Christmas trees on the curb and ready for pickup by 9 a.m. on Jan. 6.

Residents who would like to volunteer for the service should meet at LaBonte Park at 9 a.m. on the day.
