A combination of factors has led to changes in the Laramie Plainsmen soccer schedule for the last week of the regular season.

With weather playing the major role, plus trying to help out other conference schools with their re-scheduling, the matches for Laramie against Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East have moved days this week.

The Plainsmen (9-2-1, 5-2-1) will now face top-ranked Cheyenne Central at home Monday (tomorrow), May 1 at Deti Stadium for their senior day. The varsity match starts at 6 p.m. Laramie will then wrap up the regular season at Cheyenne East on Saturday, May 6. Only the varsity will play at 10 a.m.

The LHS boys are leading the conference standings heading into the final week of the regular season.

The schedule for the Laramie Lady Plainsmen remains the same. They will play at No. 4 Cheyenne Central Wednesday at 6 p.m. Then LHS will host No. 3 Cheyenne East for senior day Friday at 6 p.m. from Deti Stadium.

Laramie (9-2, 6-1-0-1) remains in second place in the 4A East Conference standings.

The 4A East Regional Championships will be in Cheyenne hosted by South High School May 11-13.
