The deadline to apply to appear at the Laramie Festival of the Arts has been extended.

The Festival is seeking regional and local artists to display their art as well as regional and local musicians to perform. The deadline to apply was extended after a large demand and additional space being made available.

Applications can be found online at or by calling 307-721-5269.

The Festival accepts art exhibitors who handcraft and hand make their own quality items. The Festival is juried by a local panel compiled of artisans working in a variety of mediums. Entries will be evaluated based on quality of workmanship, originality and artistic expression.

Booth space is available for non-profits, students, food vendors, and artists. Prices range from $25 to $50.

The Festival is also looking for musicians to performance in an exciting “busking” style in an effort to provide a fun, organic experience for Festival attendees. Everything from classical to jazz to folk to country to world music is welcome.

One and two hour slots need to be filled. Performers will be compensated for time with an hourly rate and will be able to accept tips.

If you are interested in performing, submit your contact information, the genre of music you play, as well as instrumentation and time availability to Jenny McCullough at

The Festival of the Arts runs Friday, August 28th from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, August 29th from 10 to 6 p.m.
