After being an assistant for 15 of the past 18 seasons, Clint Reed is now the man in charge of the Laramie Plainsmen football program.

It was announced Friday that Reed was chosen over four other candidates. He replaces Chuck Syverson, who stepped down for personal reasons three weeks ago.

Reed recently visited with KOWB’s David Settle about receiving this opportunity, his coaching style and philosophy, putting together a staff and more.

The Plainsmen will make their 2017 season debut (Reed's first game as head coach), Aug. 25 versus Kelly Walsh at Deti Stadium.
