UPDATE:

I-80 is now open in both directions all the way across Wyoming.  All highways through Laramie are open as well.

WYDOT has issued numerous advisories for blowing snow, slick spots, and reduced visibility.

Original Story:

The Wyoming Department of Transportation has advised that I-80 between Cheyenne to Rawlins is expected to be closed for an extended period of time.  The agency says that there is currently no projected opening time for the stretch.

The entire eastbound portion of I-80 between Cheyenne and Evanston is under the same extended closure advisory, also with no projected opening time.

The stretches of US 287 between Laramie and the Colorado state line as well as US 30 between Laramie and Walcott are also closed indefinitely.
