The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a High Wind Watch for much of southeast Wyoming from early Thursday morning through Saturday morning.

The Service says strong winds are very likely to develop along and near Interstates 25 and 80, especially in the Arlington and Bordeaux areas.

Winds gusts on Thanksgiving could reach 65 mph and winds will increase even more on Friday, with gusts greater than 75 mph possible in the morning and early afternoon.

Travelers are urged to use extreme caution, be aware of interstate closures and plan alternate routes.
