The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a hard freeze warning for parts of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle for tonight into Tuesday morning.

The warning is in effect from 9 p.m. until 9 a.m.

Forecasters say temperatures are expected to drop into the lower 20s and upper teens overnight, with some locations dipping into the single digits.

Residents are urged to protect their pipes, plants and pets.
