Former Wyoprep Athletes Playing In Fall 2016 Junior College National Championship Events

The Fall 2016 season is over for Wyoming High School sports, but not at the college level.

A total of 12 former Wyoprep athletes are competing at the National Junior College Athletic Association Volleyball and Women's Soccer National Championship Tournaments.

Northwest College out of Powell is competing in the volleyball tournament in Casper.

The team finished 6th at the tournament.

Wyoprep grads playing for the Lady Trappers include Alye Wagner (Cheyenne Central), Reilley Baty (Laramie), Bree Donarski and Kelsey Marchant (Powell), Sakoya Jones (Worland) and Jaysie Thomas (Wright).

Elsewhere, Laramie County Community College out of Cheyenne, is in the Women's Soccer National Semi-Finals in Melbourne, Florida.

The Lady Golden Eagles lost in the semi-finals of the tournament.

The team is comprised of Aubri Schneider (Green River), Sarah Erickson, Dani House and Abby Morillon (Cheyenne East), Kara Clarke (Cheyenne South), and Lauren Passini (Sheridan).
