UPDATE:  Wyoming Highway Patrol dispatch confirms that Wyoming Highway 230 reopened, just after midnight, Monday.

The closure of Wyoming Highway 230 between Laramie and Woods Landing is being attributed to a fatal automobile crash.

Few details are available at the time of this writing, officials on scene declined to comment.  However, Highway Patrol officials in Cheyenne confirm that there was a fatality involved with the Sunday night crash.

The crash occurred near mile post 16 on Highway 230.  The road was officially closed at 9:30 pm.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, and Albany County Sheriff's Deputies were also observed on site, directing traffic.

More details on the crash could become available Monday morning.
