Colonel Tracey Hayes, commander of the 90th Missile Wing, relieved Col. Donald Holloway, Commander, 90th Operations Group, Thursday because of a loss of confidence in his ability to lead.

According to a news release from the 90th Missile Wing Public Affairs office, relieving Col. Holloway of his command has nothing to do with the recent commander-directed investigation into the testing compromise at Malmstrom AFB.

"This was not an easy decision, but I believe it is in the best interest of the men and women of the 90th Operations Group," Hayes said. "My primary focus is on the health, welfare and organizational climate of this wing."

Col. Carl Jones, 90th Missile Wing vice commander, will command the 90th Operations Group until a scheduled replacement arrives this summer.
