The Denver Broncos say they will stand for the national anthem when they host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday afternoon in Denver.

Last week 32 members of the team knelt during the playing of the national anthem prior to a road loss against the Buffalo Bills.

That was part of a league-wide protest of over 200 players to draw attention to what they see as police brutality and unfair treatment of African-Americans.

But the Broncos have released the statement shown below on their facebook page this week:
