Wyoming Cowgirl junior guard Marquelle Dent has been named to the 2015 WBCA Division 1 Coaches' Honorable Mention All-America Team.

Dent becomes one of only six Cowgirls to receive the distinction in school history. It's the first such honor of her career.

This is the third year in a row a Wyoming Cowgirl has been honored. Marquelle joins Kayla Woodward, who received the accolade last year and Chaundra Sewell, who earned it two years ago.

Last month Dent was named to the All-Region team.

The Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association (WBCA) announced the awards Saturday in Tampa, FL. during the NCAA® Women’s Final Four® Super Saturday festivities. The 10-member WBCA Division I Coaches’ All-America Team was chosen from a group of 52 finalists by the selection committee during the 2015 WBCA National Convention.
