Wyoming football still has five games remaining in their regular season, including a Homecoming contest this Saturday versus New Mexico.

The Pokes are currently 2-1 in the Mountain West, 4-3 overall, and just a couple wins away from bowl eligibility.

The Mountain West will try to fill five bowl slots, with an option for a sixth if enough teams perform .500 or better.

Here are some of the current bowl projections for Wyoming.

ESPN.com's David Hale: Hawaii Bowl Vs. Houston (Dec. 24 Honolulu)

ESPN.com's Kyle Bonagura: Arizona Bowl Vs. Georgia State (Dec. 29 Tucson)

CBS Sports' Jerry Palm: Idaho Potato Bowl Vs. Northern Illinois (Dec. 22 Boise)

USA Today's Erick Smith: Arizona Bowl Vs. Oregon (Dec. 29 Tucson)

Sports Illustrated's Eric Single: Idaho Potato Bowl Vs. Akron (Dec 22 Boise)

Other Mountain West bowl options include the New Mexico Bowl, Dec. 16 in Albuquerque, the Las Vegas Bowl where likely the conference champion will go also on Dec. 16. If either the Big 12 or Pac 12 are unable to fill a spot in the Cactus Bowl, the Mountain West gets the next pick. The Cactus Bowl is Dec. 26 in Phoenix.
