With the large amount of interest in the upcoming Wyoming Republican State Convention and the appearance of presidential hopeful Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin and Idaho Governor Butch Otter, The Wyoming State Republican Party in conjunction with Townsquare Media Wyoming will be streaming video live of the activity and remarks from the convention floor Saturday morning from 9:30 to noon.

The Parkway Plaza Convention Center is at standing room only levels in anticipation of Saturday’s 2016 Wyoming Republican State Convention where the State GOP’s final 14 delegates to the National Convention will be selected.

While having a number of high profile political personalities appear at the convention is a first for a Wyoming GOP convention, it has also brought about a sell-out crowd with very limited space available for the Saturday morning session.

Republican Chairman Matt Micheli said:

“The 2016 GOP presidential race has placed Wyoming in the middle of the nomination fray, and the impact of Wyoming’s 29 delegates, while always important, has risen to another level, for that reason and more, we will be live streaming the Saturday session of the convention for the first time ever. It has always been my intention of making this convention process as open and transparent as possible, and by putting the process in front of all those interested, either in person or on the web, I think we accomplish that goal.”

The Wyoming GOP 2016 Convention process begins Thursday with meetings of the Platform and Resolutions Committees. Friday continues with the Bylaws, Nominations, and Credentials Committees. The Saturday convention begins at 8am and will continue throughout the day and gavel out around 4:30pm. The national candidates are expected to speak between 10-11am.

Live video streaming of the proceedings will begin at 9:30am and continue until noon on this website and the K2 Radio YouTube Channel.

The stream will be accessible on any PC or mobile device anywhere in the world.
