Question:

Aren't the "Stop" and "Yield to Pedestrians" signs supposed to be placed at a crosswalk? It doesn't make sense to have them up on 9th Street where there's no actual crosswalk.

Answer:

"Yield to pedestrian signs are not required to be installed in all crosswalk areas. These signs are typically positioned where pedestrian activity is unexpected, or in areas where pedestrian crossing is not obvious to drivers."

Ask the City Of Laramie is your chance to send the city that burning question that you have always wondered about such as: “Where can I get a city parking permit?” or “Why did my water usage rates go through the roof?”

Please note that the City of Laramie will answer as many questions as possible at their discretion.
