Three goals in the first half propelled the Wyoming Cowgirls to a 3-0 victory over Colorado School of Mines in their second exhibition match Monday.

Sammi Dunda, Kimmy Burbank and Claire Parker all found the back of the net in the first 35 minutes of play.

Keepers Cassidy Entsminger and Georgia Rowntree combined for four saves along with the Cowgirl defense for the shutout.

Wyoming head coach Pete Cuadrado said, “Tonight we put together a full 90 minutes, which we struggled with last week in our first exhibition.... we are also happy with the way our defense played.”

Wyoming opens the regular season Friday at Montana.
