Marquelle Dent scored 16 points to lead six Cowgirls in double figures, as the Wyoming won their final home game 80-57 over UNLV Saturday in Laramie.

Wyoming (13-14, 6-11) got 13 points from Natalie Baker. Marta Gomez, Liv Roberts and Skyler Snodgrass scored 12 points apiece. Hailey Ligocki added ten points. Roberts grabbed ten rebounds for her second career double-double.

The Cowgirls shot 53 percent from the field and knocked down ten 3-pointers. They finished with 19 assists and only seven turnovers. UW scored 14 points off ten Rebels turnovers.

After a few early lead changes, Wyoming trailed until Dent’s three-pointer that was part of a 14-0 run in the second quarter. Snodgrass connected on three shots from deep during the spurt. It led to a 37-34 lead at half.

Despite a ten-point deficit, UNLV hung around and climbed within 58-52 after the third quarter. Wyoming dominated the final frame, as they out-scored the Rebels 22-5, and pulled away for the 23-point victory.

UNLV (15-13, 8-9) was led by Brooke Johnson with 18 points. The Rebels shot only 35 percent from the floor.

The Cowgirls finish the regular season Tuesday at San Jose State. Game time is at 8 p.m., Mountain Time.
