Four players scored in double figures and the Wyoming Cowgirls topped Utah State, 61-57, Tuesday night in Logan.

Wyoming (15-12, 10-7) won for the eighth time in their last 10 games.

In a release from the University of Wyoming, head coach Joe Legerski said, "This group continues to play with confidence and is finding ways to win. Jordan Kelley’s three was a big shot that gave us a five-point cushion that we needed. What this team has learned is to make the easy play to get victories, and you never know who will be called upon to make a big play.”

Kayla Woodward recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Marquelle Dent and Jordan Kelley each added 12 points, while Liv Roberts recorded a career-high 10. The Cowgirls shot only 39 percent, but found 16 second chance points.

Utah State (8-21, 5-12) was led by Funda Nakkasolgu with 23 points. The Aggies shot 35 percent from the field and out-rebounded Wyoming 47-38.

After Utah State closed within 48-47, it was Roberts that stepped up. The freshman made a pair of three's for a 55-48 lead with just under five minutes left. Back came the Aggies, when Kelley nailed a key 3 for a 59-54 lead with 32 seconds remaining. Two free throws from Woodward sealed the Cowgirls' win.

Wyoming closes out the regular season Friday night against the New Mexico Lobos. The game is set for a 7 p.m. tip-off at the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie.
