The Wyoming Cowboys are back in action tonight, as they host the Air Force Falcons in Mountain West Conference play at the Arena-Auditorium. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

The Pokes will try for a regular season sweep of the series with the Falcons. Wyoming won at Air Force on January 22, 66-59, in which the Cowboys overcame their largest deficit of the season. They trailed by 15 points in the first half.

Wyoming head coach Larry Shyatt said he expects much the same from Air Force in tonight's game: "They went through a period where they had lost their leading scorer, 16 points a game all season long, and he's back. They have four double-figure (scoring) starters, still scoring 60 points between the four of them, so there's been a level of consistency with their personnel. They've lost some heart-breakers, and we fully expect one heck of a ballgame here."

The Falcons enter with a 10-15 overall record and are 4-10 in the Mountain West. They are sitting 10th in the conference standings. Air Force is led by sophomore Tre Coggins, whom coach Shyatt referred to. He averages16.3 points per game.

The Cowboys are 17-10 this season and 8-6 in the MW play. They are currently tied for third with Boise State and UNLV in the league standings. Wyoming is led by junior Riley Grabau, who averages 11.4 points per game.

This will be the Pokes' second game without junior forward Larry Nance Jr. Senior Jerron Granberry explained, "Coach keeps preaching that we have to remain the same and be constant. That was one of our big things this whole year is that we've remained constant. Definitely a big thing without Larry (Nance), but we're going to try to keep the same way."

Wyoming looks to bounce back against their second straight Front Range rival, after they lost last Saturday at Colorado State. That defeat stopped a three-game winning streak for UW.

The Cowboys are 38-13 all-time against Air Force in game played in Laramie. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
