Four Wyoming Cowboys scored in double figures, led by Josh Adams' 19 points and career-high 8 assists, as UW topped Utah State 74-57 Saturday at the Arena-Auditorium.

Wyoming used an 18-5 run at the end of the first half and start of the second and built a 15-point lead. The Aggies never got closer than 10 points below UW the rest of the way. UW also showed their efficiency offensively, as they scored on 11 of 13 possessions during the same stretch.

Acting head coach Jeremy Shyatt said, "I thought a big key was when they tied the game in the first half, our guys really didn't back down. We were able to finish the first half with a great spark, even with Larry (Nance, Jr.) getting a couple of fouls. I think the finish of the first half really led to our great start in the second half."

Riley Grabau added 15 points, which included three 3-pointers, Larry Nance, Jr. had 13 points and 5 rebounds, while Derek Cooke, Jr. contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds. The Pokes shot 53.3 percent (24-45) from the field, 8-14 (57.1%) from 3 and 18-21 (85.7%) at the line.

Utah State (12-9, 2-7) lost their fifth straight. They were led by Spencer Butterfield with 12 points and Preston Medlin with 11. The Aggies shot 40.4 percent (21-52) from the floor. The did out-rebound UW 32-26, which included 12 offensive rebounds.
