It's now four straight losses for the Wyoming Cowboys, as they fell to Utah State, 65-54, Wednesday night in Logan, Utah. Josh Adams scored 21 points to lead UW in defeat.

Utah State (17-13, 7-11) closed the game on a 15-6 run and gained a split of the regular season series with the Pokes. A big key was the Aggies dominated the glass in the second half. They out-rebounded the Cowboys 29-10, which included nine offensive boards.

Wyoming (17-13, 8-9) led 29-26 at halftime and stretched it to eight points early in the second half. Utah State rallied with a pair of key spurts. A 10-0 run gave them a 38-36 lead with just over 14 minutes left. After the Cowboys took the lead back, a 10-2 run by the Aggies put them in front for good.

UW got back within two points with about five minutes left before Utah State's run ended the game for an 11-point victory.

The Cowboys only other double figure scorer was Nathan Sobey with 14 points. Wyoming shot 36 percent from the field and was only 5-24 from deep.

Utah State had four players score in double digits, while two finished with double-doubles. They were led by Jarred Shaw with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Davis added 11 points and 14 boards off the bench. The Aggies shot 42.6 percent from the floor and held a 47-27 edge in rebounding.

Wyoming will conclude the regular season at home on Saturday. In what is being tabbed as "Rewind Day," the Cowboys will take on Border War rival Colorado State. The game is at 2 p.m.
