The Laramie Colts were back in action Sunday afternoon, dropping the Colorado Slammers 6-3. Laramie jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead and never looked back.

The Colts, already up 3-2, added three insurance runs in the final two innings which helped secure the victory. The Slammers tried to spark a rally in the bottom of the seventh after loading the bases with nobody out, but they ultimately fell after 2 ground balls help the Colts get three outs.

Tyler Bobenstab led the offense for the Colts, going 3-4 with one RBI, scoring two runs and drawing one walk.

Alex Leach picked up the win for Laramie, tossing four innings and allowing two runs on three hits. Leach also had five strikeouts and one walk in the game.

The Colts are off until Wednesday when they will play a weird two games in Denver. They will play the Golden Grizz at 1 p.m. and then travel immediately after to the Denver Sox for a game at 5:30.
