Wyoming senior quarterback Cameron Coffman was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week Monday.

Coffman was nearly perfect last Saturday in the Cowboys win over Nevada. He completed 18-of-20 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns. His passer rating of 228.96 is a MW single-game high in 2015.

The three TD passes went to Jacob Hollister from 18 yards out; a 27-yard strike to Tanner Gentry; and a 12-yard pass to Jake Maulhardt. The last gave UW a 21-7 halftime lead.

Coffman led Wyoming on three long scoring drives of 65, 75 and 76 yards. There was also a 47-yard scoring drive.

The senior leads the Mountain West in nearly every passing category. That includes passing yards (250.7 per game), passing efficiency (153.8 rating), completion percentage (66.1 percent) and passing TD's (14). He also leads the conference in total offense (237.2 yards per game) and points responsible for (14.0 per game).

He ranks in the top 35 in five of those six in the nation.

Coffman and the Cowboys next game is at Boise State on Saturday night.
