"Improvement" was the key phrase used by Laramie head coach Jill Stucky.

Although disappointed with a rough 5th set Tuesday night, Jill and the Lady Plainsmen are happy with the direction their team is headed.  "We're a team that struggled early at making some simple plays" Stucky said.  "We're starting to make smarter plays.  We're starting to hit at a higher efficiency and starting to make better decision."

Scores in the contest went 25-13, 19-25, 25-20, 20-25, and 8-15.  Central's Lauren Lyons served successfully seven times in a row to begin the 5th set, giving the Lady Indians a 7-0 lead.

Senior Emma Murphy led the Lady Plainsmen with 12 kills and 10 blocks.  Junior Reilley Baty set for 31 assists, while Senior Natalie Davis had 16 digs.

Laramie drops to 3-11 overall on the season.  They play at Cheyenne South Friday and host Cheyenne East Tuesday, September 24th.
