It was a long night Monday at Cowboy Field for the Laramie Rangers, as they struggled with 9 errors defensively in a 25-3 loss to the Twins Falls (ID) Cowboys. The single 9-inning game was shortened to 7 innings due to the 10-run mercy rule.

Laramie Rangers Survive and Advance at State Tournament

The Laramie Rangers bats came to life and combined with a good pitching performance from Abel Casas, it added up to an 11-1 victory over the Cody Cubs Thursday at the 2012 Wyoming American Legion Baseball State Tournament in Casper. Laramie pounded out 21 hits en route to the 10-run victory in only 8 innings of play.

Laramie Rangers Lose State Tournament Opener

A slow start and lack of offense plagued the Laramie Rangers, as they lost their first round game 7-2 to the Sheridan Troopers on Wednesday at the 2012 Wyoming American Legion Baseball State Tournament in Casper. Laramie fell behind 4-0 and could never fully recover.

Rangers Rout Rawlins 15-0 on Spiker’s No-Hitter

A no-hitter from Ryan Spiker led the Laramie Rangers to 15-0 rout of the Rawlins Generals at the Wyoming American Legion Baseball South District Tournament in Jackson. With the win the Rangers will face the Cheyenne Hawks on Thursday at 4 PM as they attempt to advance to the State Tournament by finishing in the top two this weekend.

The Laramie Rangers overcame a sour start to win the Dooley Oil Classic this weekend in Laramie as Cowboy Field celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Laramie defeated Bear Creek 12-4 in the championship game.

Laramie Rangers Make Home Debut June 1st

The American Legion baseball season is off to a good start for the hometown Laramie Rangers. They are 2-0 in this new season. After an upcoming Memorial Day weekend tournament in Cheyenne, the Laramie Rangers will have their home opener at Cowboy Field June 1 against North Platte, Nebraska. It's a doubleheader scheduled to begin at 5 pm.
