Forums are being offered for people in Albany County and the city of Laramie to meet general election candidates and ask them questions.

The League of Women Voters of Laramie and the Albany County Public Library are hosting four candidate forums in the month of October to help inform the public about those running in the general election.

All the forums will be held at the library located at 310 South Eighth Street. All these events are on Thursdays from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.

The first forum will be held on October 2 and will feature candidates for Albany County School District 1 Board of Trustees – Area A.

The second forum takes place on October 9 and includes candidates for Albany County Attorney, Assessor, and Clerk of District Court.

The third forum is on October 16 and provides people with the chance to hear from candidates for Laramie City Council Wards 1, 2, and 3.

The last of the candidate forums is on October 23 and will feature Albany County Commissioner Candidates and Wyoming State House Districts 45 and 46 Candidates.

Neither the Albany County League of Women Voters nor the Albany County Public Library supports or opposes any candidates.
