OTTAWA (AP) — Police say a shooting at an Ottawa outlet mall has left one person injured.

Staff Sgt. Rick Keindel says police are looking for at least one suspect, but they don't believe an "active shooter" is on the loose.

Keindel says the shooting occurred on an outdoor pedestrian walkway at the Tanger Outlets mall around 3:45 p.m. Friday.

He says the victim has non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.

He says officers have set up a perimeter at the scene and are interviewing witnesses, but the mall has not been locked down.
